Let's talk about cajons! The trendy Peruvian flat-top boxes. There are everso many from which to choose!. As we say in the Fatherland, "jeder dumkopf kann spielen eine cajon," (any idiot can play a box).
Nowadays, it seems like almost any idiot can make a Cajon and try to sell it on the Internets! It makes sense--Cajon design isn't rocket sugery, it's rudimentary carpentry. Some of the cheapest one-off DIY plywood boxes sound the best! Most of them sound like garbage.
In the coming months, I, Konig von Cajon (the king of the box) will pontificate in this space about most things cajon.
